A free (Wo)Man first response should be "why should there be a limit?"
Is there a statute of limitations on free speech? Lol

Also, if you could increase the number of characters in the signature in the profile.  Can't get very creative with the colors and such...

I like the members garage also, & like someone else mentioned earlier instead of the generic Ranger pics at the top of the page a couple of the Mustang forums I frequent will have random members car pics across the top from the members garages. Or have the members of the forum vote on a few of the members trucks to put there.

The garage will have to be custom profile entries, I'll put a couple in and see how it flies. I haven't had the opportunity to arrange a large custom profile before this is going to be a trip and might require some rearranging afterward.

Anything is possible LOL I worked on that one time and it was a nightmare. Turned in to an "article" mod I sold to one of my customers.

You might have to live without that for a while, sorry.

I presume you mean the Topic list in each forum?

What do you want in the hover - last post?

Sorry, i didn't mean topic list, per s© - i mean when you are in a section and there is the list of topics there, as well as the 'latest posts' list.

Holding your mouse over each topic will give a "tool tip" containing the first lines of the first post.

Uhhh... not really lol. Just that I'm not opposed to political or religious talk I'm just not going to create a specific forum for it like R-F has. Start a topic in the lounge if you feel the need.

Something like that???

Jim will probably want a switch for users to turn it off  - so I'll try and head him off at the pass... :whatever:

My topics would be more centered around law, history, your rights, case law, Statutory codes, and the like. Some people just seem to refer to that as "political talk".. but Gotcha ;)

Lol - well the way your judiciary is blocking your President's attempts at politics - I can understand the confusion.

Sounds like water cooler talk to me ....

Oh God, I HATE that! That damn white f-ing box popping up and fluttering around as I move my mouse down the page.  Yes, I use my mouse pointer to keep track of where I am on a page.

Jim, I have noticed that this forum doesn't email me when there is a reply to a thread I have posted (subscribed) to. Is that in the works, or do we just have to try to keep track of what threads we've posted in?

Well, found the problem (I think). I use Outlook for email and for whatever reason, it keeps throwing email from ford-rangers.com into the Junk folder. Although I have already added the domain to my safe senders list proactively when I signed up, it was still throwing all the notification messages in Junk. :verymad

I have just run a mail check on the server and it came back with a score of 10 out of 10 for deliver-ability - I haven't used outlook for decades, can you set a message filter that sends forum mail to the inbox?

One step ahead of you Chris.  Decided to do that after I found the messages and verified the domain was in the Safe Senders list.  I will see how that works.  One thing I didn't mention; at work, I have Thunderbird email set up to catch my personal mail (I run IMAP).  The messages weren't showing up there either.  So... that kiinda makes me think it is my email provider (Outlook.com), filtering before it reaches my PC inbox.  Gonna check that also.

My money is on MS playing silly b*****s - they have made life difficult for most people by "protecting" them from content - just need to find the "off" switch... :?

Well, I found the culprit. Since Outlook.com has a web-based interface (the primary one), I had to make the setting change there as it was getting filtered before it hit my inbox on my PCs. Problem solved and now the mail is delivered to the correct folder. :rock:rock

Chris, I am the Technology Manager for a plastics manufacturer... 30+ years in the field. I jumped right on Win 10 Insider Preview and tested the BeeJeesus out of it, both at home and work. It was awesome! Rolled it out to my users before the free upgrade expired. All went well... THEN CAME THE ANNIVERSARY UPDATE and that changed everything. I was never a Microsoft fanboi but wasn't a hater either. After the $hit they have pulled since Satya Nadella took over, they are doing more underhanded things to the corporate IT guys and just screwing us over in general. I would go to Linux if it weren't for the systems I have here that only talk on Windows servers and desktops. And I am pretty sure that Microsoft knows that...

I have been an IT manager for a large UK government department and I rued the day they went MS - my wife was also a local town councillor and their IT dept was 100% MS - is why I use Linux exclusively on my PCs and server !

Now Facebook is trying to dictate what you see  and don't see - I am pretty fed up with the c**p we get served. Bottom line is always $$$$ / ££££, never the customer experience!
