Jumping in here, too!
Thanks to JAMMAN for the invite and hello to all.

Recently replaced our trusty old Jeep(a nice young lady in Central Florida totaled it for us) with a well cared for '98 Ranger 4X4 SuperCab 4.0L 5 sp.  In the wreck of the Jeep, the guy we got pushed into was driving a Ranger with close to 400K miles, so I figured they must be pretty tough.  So now we have a "new" toad(towed vehicle) to drag around the country.

We are on our third year of living aboard our motor home and trying to see as much of our beautiful country as we can, while we are still able.  Having a ball, and spending this summer in the Texas Panhandle.

I hope to be able to contribute to your efforts.

There are a LOT of 300+ rangers still on the road, just change the oil and don't beat on them... seems like 2.3, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 all last a long time though I have seen more 3.0's with mega mileage than any.

Welcome to F-R, plenty of friendly people around, plenty of questions to be answered, plenty of people to answer the questions  :) Looking forward to hearing about.. you bought the ranger you were pushed in to?

Thanks for the welcome.  No, we found one on our travels from Florida to Texas and bought it on the way out.  I guess I didn't make that real clear, did I.  One of my many talents...

Welcome, Glad you found us. Have fun and enjoy F-R. Be safe on your trip. 1 item I have in my bucket is making it to Belton Texas for the gathering of the National El Camino Owners Association get together each year.
