Anyone want anything?

Not sure what it's got, but it's 2WD.  Going in about an hour, it's at a pick n pull, can grab stuff if it's easy enough.

Nice seats, MaXX! But... that won't be repaired easily. You will have to remove the seat back, then strip the upholstery and foam padding, straighten and weld/reinforce the bent seat back frame.

They have a deal on $15 per seat so bought them :)

They wanted to charge a center console price too! Cheeky buggers, basically cost me 47 for them both.

I'll take that deal, as at the very least I can move the covers to mine, that's all that's wrong with mine.

I should have taken an overall pic, it was in a pretty bad wrack, that seat back is bent forward because the back of the cab made it....

I think the high level brake light is smashed, but i have an all red one if you want it?
Tail lights were gone/smashed into smitherines.

It does have an R5 diff, which i believe is 3.55 8.8 and limited slip - now, i have a 4.11 - there is no way for me to just change out some middle bit to get LS, right?

Pretty sure you can't put the upholstery of those seats on your 2002 seat frames.  Just take it apart like I mentioned above and take the frame over to your buddies that did the exhaust welding.  They will straighten the frame and reinforce it / weld it... then take it home, put it together and get those beauties in your truck!

And YES... pics are REQUIRED! :)

If you are going to all that trouble just put a trutrac in it.

If yours is a 28 spline and the R5 is a 28 spline then you could... but it isn't that simple. Rear ends are shimmed right to left and the pinion gear (which you would need to change also) would need a seal and to be set properly. I've done it on old chevy rear ends but wouldn't recommend it.

Now pulling the entire rear end and planting it in yours... I think is easier than setting up a new ring and pinion.

My opinion only someone who has done it more than twice might have a different opinion. On the chevy (actually was an olds 442 I put a chevy 4.11 in) I did it dry, then put some white grease on the ring to see how it clung to the ring after being smashed by the pinion. I had shims for the right and left, jogged them around till the grease was clinging closest to the middle then threw it back together. With gear lube of course. I was 19 and brave. I got lucky on the pinion position but I did replace the seal.

Aside from the tail lights and the 3rd brake light I really don't need anything. Send me a pic of yours if you want to get rid of it.

mhoward, hmm, it looks like the same seat frames, you think it's not close enough?
Anyway, i'm putting up a seat thread, started pulling it down tonight.

Jamman, i tried following the diff thread, but i have zero skills in that area - a Trutrac is $500 before fitting.

I don't like that this diff is a 3.55, mine, at 4.10 is about as high as i'd want it, so a straight swap wouldn't feel so good at all. Stupid wheezy engine.

I honestly don't know if there is anything i can make use of, i wouldn't know where to start with that diff if i could.

For the high level, it's physically perfect, just dirty, it's yours if you want it, just cover postage.

MaXX, I guess it is possible the back frames are the same. But all the standard Ranger seat backs I've seen taper up to the head rest, where these have the appearance of the headrest being somewhat separate. IDK, your seats, your call!

Front passenger corner light in good shape? Pic of the front end? May want the grille and/or bumper if any of that survived.
Steering wheel and cluster pics? What motor, tranny, and layout (4x4 or 4x2) type?
If you can't make the seats work and the bottom cover on the drivers seat is in good shape (no rips or tears starting) I'll take it off your hands for ya!

Sorry dude, looks like piranhas went over it after I left late yesterday and looked again later this morning!

Only thing left were cruise buttons, so grabbed those.

Kealel, i'm sorry i just missed your post by a minute, though it was too late for many things, i don't know who/what ran through that thing early this morning, it was crazy stripped, including the carpet!

Corner lights i think were smashed, tail lights were aftermarket, one gone/smashed, the other in not amazing condition, and on the hood....

Grille was ok. Bumper was not.

Leather wheel i think, dirty, but ok. Cluster had been pulled and left yesterday, was ok, but gone today.

Auto box, 4.0 4x2 with an R5 diff (LS 3.55) That's still there and intact.

Seats will work, i'm 99% sure, but i'll keep you in mind ;)

Buggman, sending you a PM with the cruise buttons.
