The first thing I did before I installed the 3rd brake light tonight was attempt to open the tailgate.

*cue gong*

Wouldn't open easily, took me twisting and pulling about 20 different positions.

I "just happened to have one" being I was going to replace the broken one on my white ranger before I sell it.

These are the bolts I'm having a hard time finding

Anyhow here is the handle in a package

As it turned out it was all steel! old one was plastic.

So I put it in and... SAME PROBLEM. One side acting way before the other.

Then I noticed this:

Hard to see but it was bent way to the right. One side would stop before fully actuated the other never reached it's full retract position being stopped by the other.

Someone thought they had fixed it by putting a wire tie around the thing, I cut it off, bent the tab back to the middle and re adjusted the pull bars so they wouldn't rattle. Works great now.

Maybe the plastic handle will fit the white one.... :)

How many of those did you want? I usually get them in 18 count packs but may be able to send you a couple if that is all you need?

I would take 2 X 18 packs but I went on your web site and didn't see them.

Ha.. I see. Wouldn't find them on there anyhow. Those are more of a supply item for the shop and install bay.

They're not really cheap, are you sure you need 36 of those things?

Cheap as in a quality 338 Lapua rounds are only less expensive by $0.44 a round at current ammo market in comparison unfortunately. And negative on the SS option.
