I came across a 2000 ranger trailhead for sale. I went to look at it out of curiosity and it was 2wd with torsion bar front suspension and factory fender flares. I always thought that setup didnt come along till like 01 with the edge. The guy claims he bought it new. So I googled it. Ford did make a trailhead edition in 2000 only and only 2wd. I've never heard or seen one till today. Have any of guys seen this truck? I guess they are rare and production was limited being a 1 year only model.

No it's in to bad of shape to make a profit on. It has a blowed head gasket rear frame is rotted out. It's pretty beat up.

My truck is indeed a trailhead model, from what little info i could find on them it seems like it was a test run before ford released the edge, it sold well enough that the edge happened.
2wd but lifted and set on a 4x4 chassis and suspension, mine has all the wiring in the cab for it to become a fully loaded model (power everything wires in the cab but dead end and the connectors, was missing the pigtail for the 1354e though. Swapped out the solid red 3bl for one with cargo lights because the truck was wired for them, has a vinyl floor and was manual everything but has a/c, fog lights, color matched bumpers, unique rear with a double bump added, and a few other quirky things about it

What do you mean by unique rear with double bump in it? Could you post a pic?
