Adam, the only problem I see is protecting the LEDs from damage due to flying road debris. If you got something similar to those LED rope lights (think Christmas decorations), you might be able to make it happen.

I would check with my state and local authorities as undercarriage lighting isn't legal in all jurisdictions.

That may possibly be rugged enough. I would strongly recommend solder & shrink sleeve connections rather than crimp connectors if you do this.

None we've taken pics before on, especially on a Ranger just yet. There is a Silverado scheduled and a Toyota Tacoma king cab being done soon too. I'll definitely get pics from those both and continue to update this thread to keep things in one place.
I'm pretty sure both are white too which you know will likely be the brightest of all the colors available.

i've got some of the new led's i use for new raptor grille mods in red, white & yellow that might work there... they're sealed & faitly small at about 3/4" diameter but super bright.
i'd run them on a switch for "offroad use only"

waterproof led strips might work too, they're pretty rugged with a pvc type coating (see my explorer & ranger rear led setups). not sure how durable they'd be with roadkill smashing into them, but you might be able to mount them in an area that's a bit more protected.

You bet! We will be taking many pics of both vehicles during installation and when complete of course; some in use pics as well. Both vehicles are being prepared for a club run to Toraweap, AZ run in a few months for one of the most spectacular views of the Grand Canyon ever.
