Been tossing the idea around of putting a wood floor in my step side. Thoughts and ideas?

I've installed wood floors and ceramic tiles in the cabs of semi trucks. But yeah Jim in the bed.... LMAO

If you put that lifeproof floating composite wood look flooring that everyone's putting in there house it might be durable enough to still do some light hauling too

Back in the 80's I had a (don't kick me out of hear) 1985 GMC step side that had a wooden bed floor. They are cool. I would say go for it.

OK so the last posting was almost a year ago, wondering if you did anything with the wooden bed floor ?

The idea is a good one as far as I am thinking for looks, and I wanted to do it too, but not being a carpenter, or at least someone that can get it to look good I have put it off.

If you did anything, I would be interested to see  how you shaped things, and if you had any patterns made up ?

Also, wonder about the strip dividers, I'm thinking S/S, but I'm open to discussion.

I've seen the Older Truck Wooden Bed Kits, I started thinking one of them would be a good starting point, since the Ranger Steppie Bed is smaller than they are, there should be enough there in wood and hardware to make it work.  Also, the S/S Strips will need to be secure through the bed floor... a lot of holes and longer bolts.

Enough said about an older posting, hope you have done something.

Working on more Mods, just need more time, longer days would work !
