On my 2000 Ranger, the electric windows work about 50% of the time. I've replaced both side rocker switches. When they don't work, I can hear a click as I rock the switch, and it always happens to both windows at the same time.  Any ideas?

The click is coming from center of dash probably slightly to the left of the radio, it is a relay module.

So you are saying it clicks when it does work and clicks when it doesn't?  You are going to need someone handy with a volt meter to track this down, I would start in the door itself, measuring voltage at the wires that go to the motor. If there is no voltage (in the situation where you hear clicking and see no action) then you have to trace back to the relay module. It might be a relay, the contacts can burn and it will still click, just no voltage can make it through the contact.

Thanks. I haven't noticed if it clicks when they work, I only notice it when they don't,  cause I push the button 10 times! I'll try and trace it down.

When they work, the window motor is louder than the click is what I'm guessing but trust me there is clicking :)

I might add a note here that if the driver side window switch loses connection, the passenger side window will not work either.  Meaning, if you were to unplug the driver side window switch on a working system, the passenger window switch will not operate the passenger window.  Just something handy to know while you are troubleshooting.  Also, those connectors to the switches are seriously a bad design, so you may want to give them a close look as well.
