The click is coming from center of dash probably slightly to the left of the radio, it is a relay module. So you are saying it clicks when it does work and clicks when it doesn't? You are going to need someone handy with a volt meter to track this down, I would start in the door itself, measuring voltage at the wires that go to the motor. If there is no voltage (in the situation where you hear clicking and see no action) then you have to trace back to the relay module. It might be a relay, the contacts can burn and it will still click, just no voltage can make it through the contact.
