 There is a small red toggle or switch just above the ignition of my Ford Terriotory 2005  (sorry I can not find a Terriotory forum) maybe someone can help me and tell me its function ?\

 Welcome to F-R, what happens when you flip it? Being close to the ignition if I were going to guess... I would think alarm disable or ignition kill.

 kinda looks like a red 5mm led... not factory, possibly an aftermarket alarm indicator or a fake alarm led to try to ward off potential thieves

Did you ever find out what the switch/LED went to ?






It would be interesting to know what the reason for the component is or was !
