There is a small red toggle or switch just above the ignition of my Ford Terriotory 2005 (sorry I can not find a Terriotory forum) maybe someone can help me and tell me its function ?

Did you ever find out what the switch/LED went to ?
It would be interesting to know what the reason for the component is or was !
