 Well yes and no. I'll see if the explorer sills can be adapted but it looks like no. It fits everything else and can be cut for the back. covers the place where the cup mount is like I wanted.

 If you want to get that carpet as clean as possible, when I worked as a car detailer I used $crubbing Bubbles and let it sit for a minute and then scrubbed with a firm bristle brush and then vacuumed it up. It almost always worked, and you may have your own method but just a tip. :thumbsup:

 I didn't clean it yet because I wanted to see if it fit. I'm wanting to eliminate the redundant cup holder when you install a shorty console. It leaves a hole in the carpet. The expo carpet I already had and covers that area well. It just don't span to where the sills on a ranger can tie it down.

explorer sill covers?
If you really wanted to get wild you could use carpet seem tape and mend the two carpet kits together, my wife has a carpet business so we can do this sort of thing

Factory carpet kits are very very good carpet, they can be cleaned up to look like new, 98% of stuff will come out with a good power wash, de grease and scrub

 That expo carpet has thicker padding and is thicker in general, I believe it would be quieter and cooler in the cab with the expo carpet.

I'm weighing the custom sills option against the Aardvark carpet WHICH with extra padding will cost almost 200 bucks. Custom sills would of course look awesome but with my project starting to completion ratio being like it has been for the past 4 years it might never get done.

If you look at the carpet from the expo it is much cleaner and looks better than it should for 20 year old carpet. The whole expo was like that I came real close to fixing it. The rocker panels were wasted but the rest had no rust. Trans would only do reverse.

I do have other projects I will try the scrubbing bubbles on, thank you for the tip!

Those could look really cool if you machine them yourself. One Saturday at the shop to bust out 2 custom sill plates doesnt seem bad. Only down side is if they ever need replacing you'll need to make them yourself again.

If this is the truck that goes with the Speaker Baffle questions, make sure to add the sound deadening to the floor before reinstalling the carpet.

Also, I changed from a Rubber Mat to Carpet... ok looked great when it was first done but it didn't take long for things to get dirtier than I could keep up with.

If I had to to do over, I would keep the runner mat.

 my BII has a rubber floor from a sport trac in it, worked out perfectly with a little trimming. The factory rubber floor is the way to go if you live in the dirt like I do. Carpet just would not work out here, not unless I hit the lotto and run pavement back to the house!

I miss the rubber flooring, switched to carpet, at first I thought is looked good and thought this will work, but now I looking for  new rubber flooring.
I checked with "Stock Interiors" and they don't carry the Rubber Flooring for the 2003... WTF is going on !

Now that I have read about the Explorer Flooring working I will go that route for a while.

Also, I didn't know the Sport Trac had a Rubber Floor... what years are we talking ?
