Does anyone know of a Gauge Cluster, that will fit my 2003 Dash, and has the Speed-O centered and two smaller gauges on each side.

Oh ya, the biggy... "No Odometer Reset Button" !

I am thinking the '97 has more of a chance at having no Odometer Reset but I am not familiar with these parts.

I am looking for the enclosure, mainly the front section of the Gauge Cluster; I do not need the gauges, or ny of the electronics !

Just something I am thinking on and may do a dash change IF it turns out ok.

Thanks for any help !

OK... I've been reading on the web and looking around and came up with another question.

"Will the gauge cluster from an 04+ (I think that's the change date) fit in my '03 Dash" ?

AND another question, "Would the Lens of the Gauge Cluster, from an '04+ fit the '03 Gauge Cluster" ?

Thx for any assist !

Ok, since no one has any idea of what I obviously don't know about gauges here is another question...  "Does anyone have the wiring schematics for a '95 Ranger Gauge Cluster" ?
I'm thinking 2WD, XL, Speed-O Only Cluster !

My intent is as follows, I have my '03 EDGE, 4WD, 5SP, with Tach and Speed-O, AND I have a '95 Cluster, XL, 5 sp, 2WD...  I want to use the '95 Cluster in my '03 EDGE.
here are some thoughts:
-The 4WD Indicators can be removed from the Dash since the '95 Cluster shouldn't have them anyway; I can mount separate indicators with the 4WD Switch, where it ends up.
-The Tach, I would like to mount on the Dash, left side by the Pillar, so the Tach wire can hang loose until used to hook up the new Tach... If that is possible !

Also, does anyone know if the side gauges in the '03 Cluster can be used in the '95 Cluster ?

This is one of the Gauge Cluster ideas I have been thinking on, I am moving more to this one with the Speed-O Only because I am hoping it will be less wiring changes, and this old soul needs all the help it can get to get this project done !

Thanks to anyone that can help with info.

Ltr

We can compare the 95 wiring to your 03 wiring no problem will see if I can find the schematics and then build a map of the changes

95 is an odd year....especially for the Ranger
Some 95 ranger are obdI and some are II
95 Explorers are also odd, they are basically a 94 in a gen II body for the first months then they slowly evolve until they had a pretty solid platform in 96. Some 95 explorer have the old 60+/- pin PCM and some have the newer 110 pin style.

Regardless the speedometer in 95 used the VSS in the transfer case/tailhousing, your 03 the speedo signal comes from the rear axle/ abs computer, that is the biggest obstacle but easily overcome. You can simply use your 03 head and needle in the 95 cluster. Same goes for the rest of the gauges, you can likely unscrew most of your 03 stuff and screw it onto the 95 basically making a 95 looking cluster with 03 guts

Now we have two threads going on this LOL
My 88 BII cluster is built up of 1988,93,97 and autometer parts, I plan to 3d print a new bezel to make it look a little better where I added my double din head unit and dash mounted 2" gauges then it will be "done".
I love it, the factory clusters are so "meh" these days leave alot to be desired with all the new tech avail> the dakota digital stuff is so expensive, and looks like a 88 camaro dash when done. I like the idea of LED for all indicators and a Ipad mini to be the actual gauges

Ya we have more thane... this one was suppose to be for "Is there a Speed-O Only Gauge Cluster for an '03 !

I am finding nothing line.

First I would appreciate you doing this... !

Second, we should more it to a thread with a wiring thing going on, I will try and get a link to the other thread and you can respond to that one.
We can close this one or at least not respond to it 1

Third, My cluster does not have a Speed-O Connector, so I am not sure of what year I have, not sure what VSS is either !
Is there someway to know for sure what year this Cluster is from?

What you are sliding is the Side gauges on the older Cluster can be replaced with the gauges from my '03 Cluster ? OK, that does answer another question I had in another thread.

Thanks for your reply, appreciate it !

Anyone want to post about '95 or '03 Gauge Cluster fitment or wiring please go tot this thread:

https://ford-rangers.com/forum58/1547.html

I started similar threads and I don't want to lose any important replies.

Thanks

Admin,  Please close this thread thread.

Added 03/15/19:  I found out the Cluster is newer than I was told.
I got help form another Ranger Owner who suggest as I thought after reading the date codes, that this Cluster was '99 or newer.
Thanks for any postings.
