What is the best/cheapest way to go about getting door locks cut for your keys? Most people just get door locks and carry two keys. Has anyone had door locks re cut to an ignition key so everything matches? And if so what if you don't mind did it end up costing you?

You might try buying a lock set with ignition key from a Ford dealer. Or a pick a part. Better yet you already have all the keys locks and tumblers

Not really, the expo is in the same condition. Door keys don't quite fit the ignition. I mean the other way around. The ignition keys do fit the rear hatch and I have to crawl through that to un lock the doors.

My lunch bag was stolen from the company truck with my keys and wallet in it. I hired a mobile locksmith. He made the ignition keys and made sure it worked for the doors too for $240. Not sure that would work for you unless you had the set.

The ignition is different from the doors in this case, they already switched one or the other out. Sucks to be me.

In the past I took the lock cylinders from the doors along with the ignition key I wanted them to match to a locksmith. With the cylinders out it is easy to match the tumblers to an existing key. If you have them yourself it is a 5 min job, but I don't have tumblers.
