Boy do these things look cool, anyone here have one installed?

I was ready to get one, brought it up to the GM at work as possibly becoming a dealer for glowshift.

He said we already are, or were. About 6 years ago one of the younger employees wanted a 3 gauge set for his diesel, so we did the right thing and applied to be a distributor to get him a better deal. The gauges failed within a week or so he said, along with the one from our display we let him try.

I had no idea. I still think they look cool and was wondering if anyone else had any luck with them. At the price they should be good.

Not worth it
Some have luck some do not
When you do not its $$$$ down the drain.
We used Glowshift for Darth Ranger, oil pressure, water temp, trans temp and a clock
Only the clock still works and remains in the truck...the other gauges FAILED within months of the build

I will NEVER buy glowshift again, and that sucks for them as I install alot of gauges here in my shop over the years

Autometer or ISSPRO for me

We are an isspro dealer here at CDS, I could get a great deal.

I love startups though, I just bought an oil pressure bar graph gauge and sending unit from Intellitronix, I'll run it daily to see how it lasts.

Intellitronix is in direct competition with Dakota Digital who has a very large custom build customer base (including our own Nopower) so they have a lot to prove. So far all the "they suck" propaganda seems to be from sloppy customers.

We need a good alternative to Dakota, they seem to be leaning more toward the Harley crowd with their new products.

So far you are correct, isspro seems to be top dog with 52MM gauges but I'm really liking the obd2 based stuff that is coming out even from Autometer. I'll have to try it eventually.

I've bought from Koso North America, but I think that they are cycle exclusive. Autometer does make good stuff.

Ive run them. I am not a fan. I've installed a few sets in lightnings with mixed results.
