Can you swap a mustang rear end into a 94 ranger 2wd. I bought the truck for $400 at an auction and somebody welded the diff. I also do not like working on drum brakes. I would like to have disc brakes.

Easy is a debatable statement.

Can you weld?  Then it's an easier swap.

In his case, swapping out the carrier and pinion gear, along with the disc brake ends would likely be much easier.
