Good Morning to all, hope all are well and the weather is getting warmer.

Temperature projections are in the low 80s, probably get to 78 but I'll take it; I like the 70's.

I'm taking a part my Jeep,  1982 Creation called a Bobbed Scrambler.
I took the engine, trans and T/C out yesterday, pulling the T/C and Trans off and going to need to clean out the engine.
I screwed up I didn't add the Lifter Vally pan and the local mice had a field day, and it wasn't in my fields. (My Intake has a separate pan to block the Lifter Rea, I forgot to put it on when I parked it)... !?!?!??????  :'( :coffee
The Vally looks like they moved in.
I have cleaned out the biggest mess but I now need to remove the litter retainer and lifters, oil pan, and see what else is going to be a BITCH today.

Anyone know of a good detergent that will break down all this rat sh!t ?
It is a sticky mess, I'm thinking of hanging the engine by the front of the block and spray it will some gasoline, then a good power wash.
The lifters and Retained will to be soaked in gasoline and hope the lifters will not be a problem.

So my biggest hope of no problems with eh engine has started as a flop but it shouldn't be more than a lot of cleaning... hoping and praying.

Hope everyones day has started off well and all goes good today for all of us, me too !

Never had that problem, that's a new one! I have found an acorn or two at times but never a town of mice.

Maybe there is a product called S*** -B- Gone or something.

Good luck with the Jeep motor anyone else?

I'm thinking straight up gas... it will make the barn smell better.
I took off the T/C and Trans today, will be hooking up the Hoist and moving the Block outside.

I have a morning appointment, then out to the Barn to start cleaning the block.
Purchased an older but good quality Pool Table, Olhausen, it needs to be taken apart and I want to be there.   Actually never heard of that name before, but from what I have read it is top of the line.   Even the guy that will be taking it apart and reassembling at the house said it is a great table.  New Competition Bumpers and new Felt... a plus.
The seller threw in a Overhead Rectangular Light, nice colors in it, Belgium Balls, and two good cues sticks and seven cues sticks that came with the table and a bunch small stuff in a box.

Soak in Simple Green. Use a brush to knock chunks off, soak again, pressure wash , and then coat with kerosene.

No MAGIC cures I'm guess here !

I'll have the T/C and the Tarns off tomorrow AM, then on to the cleaning.
