Good Morning to all, hope all are well and the weather is getting warmer. Temperature projections are in the low 80s, probably get to 78 but I'll take it; I like the 70's. I'm taking a part my Jeep, 1982 Creation called a Bobbed Scrambler. I took the engine, trans and T/C out yesterday, pulling the T/C and Trans off and going to need to clean out the engine. I screwed up I didn't add the Lifter Vally pan and the local mice had a field day, and it wasn't in my fields. (My Intake has a separate pan to block the Lifter Rea, I forgot to put it on when I parked it)... !?!?!?????? ![]() ![]() The Vally looks like they moved in. I have cleaned out the biggest mess but I now need to remove the litter retainer and lifters, oil pan, and see what else is going to be a BITCH today. Anyone know of a good detergent that will break down all this rat sh!t ? It is a sticky mess, I'm thinking of hanging the engine by the front of the block and spray it will some gasoline, then a good power wash. The lifters and Retained will to be soaked in gasoline and hope the lifters will not be a problem. So my biggest hope of no problems with eh engine has started as a flop but it shouldn't be more than a lot of cleaning... hoping and praying. Hope everyones day has started off well and all goes good today for all of us, me too !
