After being disgusted with the on going malware problems at the FRF and the fact it had been blacklisted by google for about 3 months, after nobody came there from management to clean it up, after I had made a donation becoming a supporting member and did not receive the stickers that came with the program (you think I'm slow at sending prizes....), and after a suggestion by buggman... I decided to do something on my own.

One year ago today I registered the domain name ford-rangers.com. It took till October to get the software up and running but the decision was made on Sept. 16th 2017.

Now we are on the first page of google RIGHT UNDER TRS for the searches "ranger forum" and "ford ranger forum"!

It has been a good first year and I thank everyone who participates and lurks and has dragged people here kicking and screaming.

Please don't forget what FRF did to us, I don't invite people from there any more because most of the welcome posts get answered these days. When they went un answered for 24 hours I would invite the new members as a LOT of you know. It seems some have forgotten and drift back but there is still an extreme lack of management and very little moderation at all.

Just never forget please.

Best Ranger forum on the web. I use to visit TRS alot but I hate the changes they have made to the site. With more and more members here at FR lending a hand and making how to threads and the great people we have running the site theres no reason FR shouldn't be the go to Ranger site on the interwebs

... and, while galloping around Tuscany a year ago with my horse, I got this message ...

"When you get back I have a very important project I can pay for, don't be afraid to charge me for this one.

I have always wanted a popular forum. I had a general chat forum one time (jamman.net) that was getting popular but general chat is only hot if you stick to it and post questionable stuff LOL. I can't do that.

SO I don't know if I told you but I'm really in to Ford Rangers, I own 3 as of now, one a daily driver and 2 I'm working on. One of them has a 5.0 in it and is going to be awesome.

I am a member on at least 3 different ranger forums. One of them just got hacked and another is going south and the 3rd is popular but not very friendly.

None of them are honoring 100% fords effort to bring the ranger back to USA in 2019.

So I started a forum, I'm developing a theme (boy what a mess I made of the HTML in the ultra theme) but I have a couple mods in mind that I could do but between me working on some things and you working on a couple others it might actually get done.

Will you have enough time in early October when you get back to look at it?

I was able to get ford-rangers.com

I hear you laughing. Stop laughing at me Chris!"

Far from laughing I was, and am still, proud to be a part of this forum :hair

Thank you JAMMAN. It's a wonderful space you've created and a great group you've gathered.
