Take a few minutes to sign this. It will help us create a voice. See officals are willing to help. But they want to see numbers. In some form this will effect all of us.

I didn't when I did it. I researched it first. I got the link for a good well known source.

We as we'll as hundreds of other companies are backing this.  THIS would essentially wipe out not only the 100's of aftermarket companies you can think of, but thousands more companies, suppliers, parts/upfittment shops, and investment companies essentially costing... millions of jobs.

This is NOT a joke, even if this doesn't pass, its a test to see what will be needed to change in the legalese to see what will pass and to revise the language to encourage its passing in increments. Much just like all of the firearm infringements we've seen in the last decade if you're a firearms fan at all.

This nation has been undergoing a HUGE attack on itself from external distractions, and mostly internal disruptions and attacks.  There are prominent figures in both our own past history and in recent history of prominent figures both in and out of our own society who have stated that the fall of this country would start from within.  You're living it Gentlemen

The only thing thats systemic is the dismantling of everything you've known; societal, economic, lawful, We are far closer to a one world government than people will believe.

If you're in the automotive industry in respect to aftermarket, a supplier, direct manufacturing, or a garage tinkerer.. you should be behind this before they stop asking you, and just start telling you.

Just to add to this and the seriousness...

This isn't a "pack in, pack out and leave no trace" argument... Increased homelessness and family integrity will be affected by this.

RPM ACT - what is it?
The RPM ACT is a movement against the EPA and the recent regulatory actions that will prevent modification of personal vehicles for the intent of racing or modifying for off-road use.

What direction, impact?
Multiple congressmen are working to help the American Automotive Aftermarket Industry. The action of the EPA will have a ripple down affect that would impact numerous industries and jobs in America.

How to do your part?
Contact your Senator and Congressional Representative and have them support the bill introduced this year - "RPM Act of 2019" from becoming legislation.

All Information (Except Text) for S.2602 - RPM Act of 2019

We as we'll as hundreds of other companies are backing this.  THIS would essentially wipe out not only the 100's of aftermarket companies you can think of, but thousands more companies, suppliers, parts/upfittment shops, and investment companies essentially costing... millions of jobs in every facet of the Automotive Industry and others.

This is NOT a joke, even if this doesn't pass, its a test to see what will be needed to change in the legalese to see what will pass and to revise the language to encourage its passing in increments. Much just like all of the firearm infringements we've seen in the last decade if you're a firearms fan at all.  These people are treating this the same as if there is no ammo for your firearms, eventually you will have a useless or no use for the firearm.  Replace Ammo for 'aftermarket parts'  and 'Vehicle' for firearm.  This is driven from the California model of not wanting you to drive cars/trucks.  They would have you live in stuffed expensive "Stack & packs", apartments above small strip mall like stores, that are expensive pushing people into the cities to prevent sprawl to the rural areas where you can't be controlled, excise taxed/fined, or watch your every movement.

California, Oregon, and New York are beta-testing test beds for nationwide legislation.  If you're pretty aware of that, you are likely already aware this is a real serious matter..

Just look at the media outlet names that keep repeating it enough so that the masses will start to believe and agree with it, because we know how many critical thinkers are among us all.

A cleaned up but larger version of our last comment was posted on a few other boards (5) as a whole and new thread.. 1.5 of those boards not so receptive to the conversation. I guess they think it won't affect them ever if it were to pass.  Again, not going to soap-box the effort.  Its supposed to be a adult conversation not an all out argument. One Nissan site now requires a fire-retardant suit apparently after a 19hr old post got out of hand that we didn't even get to see come to fruition.

We'll just have to put extra effort in the near future to not resurrect a 2+yr old dead post with - "We told you so.."  If the legislation goes through and companies start disappearing away. Frustrating really

Although I have begun to think no matter what an indiviual thinks, it does no good to help get a bill through or get rid of it for good !

There have been other attempts to stop vehicle modification and aftermarket parts, but every time a new bill comes up, we give a little more away of our freedoms, our choices and the next time we give a little until we have none anymore.  You do what we say when we say it.   Isn't that Nazism or Communism ?

I personally would like to see everyone of the members on this Site respond positively to this Bill, it could be the last one but it could get passed and we lose... again !

First minute is mundane.. NSFW as this guy tells it like it is but this guy totally gets into the foot-in-the-door legislation and I understand that this started out as rolling coal, now its tune modules, exhaust, cat/EGR deletes.. it's only a matter of time before they extend that anything that has a VIN number cannot be modded at all like Japan had for the longest time?

I'm just asking for an audience to pass this along.

There is video evidence of pollsters running the same votes over and over. With additional evidence of pollsters admitting t skewing the numbers. There has been a stolen election.

Yes but when you post any of the evidence there are those on here that call it fake news and I got tired of being poo pooed for attempting to spread the truth. Okeefe is a freakin hero, Tucker makes the rot palatable and the second greatest patriot of all times died a few weeks ago. But this isn't that thread is it? LOL.

You do know that Fox's lawyers argued in Federal court that a reasonable viewer with the appropriate amount of skepticism will realize that Carlson is not 'stating actual facts', that he engages in 'exaggeration' and shares 'non-literal commentary' right?  His own company said not to believe him.  Are you saying you do believe him?

I don't have to believe him. What I am seeing with my own eyes he is only affirming.

And I don't really value the opinion of any modern day authoritative figure (his bosses for sure) I have only one boss.

Dude I wasn't speaking about you and even the persons I was speaking about I think are cool and are 10000% welcome to say anything they want about anything, 1A. We just have to agree not to agree on certain things.

The new job I started, the original and only other programmer there is awesome, we text each other like daily on silly things like tree removal and old lawn mowers and star trek. I really like the guy. He wears a mask 100% of the time and will not step within 6 feet of any human, works from home most of the time. I only wear a mask in certain places just to keep from getting in to fights, and will probably hug the first person I meet that claims to have covid so I can finally get it. Him and I are not on the same page on a lot of those type issues but we still became instant friends. That is the way it should be. I don't beat him down for his beliefs he don't beat me down for mine.

Unless you think the earth is flat, then we have a problem. LOL.

Unless you think the earth is flat, then we have a problem. LOL.

Lawn mowers and Star Trek, such a bizarre combo I love it!  What about Star Wars?  Which is better?  Trek or Wars?  Wanna fight about it?  Lol.  I am a Trek guy, my wife is a Star Wars person...

Do you plan on getting the vaccine?  I haven't seen any science on it, but just anecdotal evidence based on a co-worker and his family, that if you have had covid and then get vaccinated, you have a stronger reaction to it.  For me the vaccine was nothing more than a sore arm.  I did feel like crap after getting the second one, but I always attributed it working 14 hours that day.  Both him and his wife had covid, and they were down like a whole day for each vaccine shots.  Like I said, no science, just anecdotal.

We are a really small operation, there is only like a dozen of us at this point (good god we need more), but we still have a wide variety of people.  Our DB admin is a hard right, think on the right side of Trump.  But we always talked about politics because he can discuss it without thinking you are attacking him if you disagree, and he can reciprocate.  One of my biggest worries is about the extremists on both sides.  Seems to me that both parties are drifting even farther apart.  But I am a registered independent, and I have never been a one issue voter.  And like I told you once, put your Trump sticker on your truck, I am not going to assault you for it.  Personal property is just that.  Same with personal opinions.

Flat earthers, I have never actually met one in person.  I know they are out there, just makes me shake my head.

Star Trek, because I have only one sibling, a younger sister that got in to star wars. I had to dislike it because of that.

I will not get the vaccine unless it becomes mandatory in order to live in the US. I don't plan on moving any farther than texas or florida to avoid it.

I haven't met a flat earther, but my oldest son has. When you are a flat earther, you can't believe in "global" anything because globe implies round. They make Q members look like Chris Langan.

And I do have a Trumpish sticker on one of my Rangers, the promises made promises kept one. I bet you won't drive to Ohio just to assault me :)

I really like the place I work now, I applied there 3 years ago and they hired me then, but the diesel place threw sums of cash at me. Then they sold the place and eliminated my entire department.

A side note on the diesel place, they recently sold all the test equipment to FVP. Since I created most of the test equipment I was asked to come by and fire the things up. The president of FVP asked me if I wanted a free one week family vacation when they put the stuff in.
