I think we have finally got to the bottom of the thread subscription problems we were having, thanks to Chris's keen eye and my consistent nagging (and sending him on more than one wild goose chase)

Anyone new joining will not automatically be subbed to every thread like they were in the very beginning when we first opened. The amount of e-mails were out of hand in my opinion.

Up until an hour or so ago you might not have been subscribed even if you had it checked in your "MY Account" section.

There are a number of ways to subscribe to a topic -

1. Click on 'Subscribe to this topic' button at the bottom of the topic page.

2. Check the 'Notify me by e-mail when replies are posted to this topic.' when replying to a topic.

3. If you want to automatically subscribe to all topics you post in then go to My Account Preferences and check the ' Always notify by e-mail when replies posted to topics you participated in' box.

4. You can also subscribe to the forum in 'My Account'.

Try it out and if you experience any issues feel free to let us know.

I noticed that I wasn't getting notifications. Worked on my email, because I had gotten SOME notifications. Now, nothing again.

Yeah, Gmail had slowly started filtering the notifications for me, had to go through and mark them all as not spam.

Also, re auto-sub, auto still doesn't work, checking the box in the full reply window does, using the quick reply windows does not and obviously doesn't contain a sub tick box.
