Hey guys names Joe im new to the forum so glad to be here and looking forward to hanging out and talking about these little trucks. so for starters dose any body have any knowledge on the 94-04 (SN95) rear disk brake conversion to stock 28 spline rear ends? I see a lot of guys have already have done this upgrade to there trucks but was wondering if anybody could elaborate a little more on what it actually took to get it done. it seams to be a pretty easy bolt on type affair but ive heard that there can be some fitment issues more or less with rotor to hub mounting. Let me know whats up or if any body has had a similar issue. Im very interested in this conversion.

I've done the swap to several trucks. Imo it's best and cheapest way to go. On my black 06 I had an issue with the caliper bracket rubbing the rotor. I solved that by placing a washer between the caliper bracket and the mounting bracket on the axle. Tomorrow I will snap a pic of what you have to do the axle braket6 to make it work. You have cut the bracket to make it work. Dont worry a cut off wheel is all you need. You will find many ideas on brake hoses. What I found to work the best is the soft and hard lines from a rear disc explorer. I never hooked the parking brake up for all the trucks I have done were automatic. But any 94-2004 mustang will work weather it's a 7.5 or an 8.8 by car or gt. Just dont get cobra brakes they dont fit.

The only way that could happen is he either had aftermarket axles or 31 spline axles. Post some pics of the truck

Theres a slight modification needed if you run expo lines. On the expo line theres a lip on the caliper end of the hose by the banjo bolt. It will ground down flat. I will get you a pic of it tomorrow. And I almost forgot you have to use the banjo bolts for the mustang expo bolts are a different thread pitch. It's a real easy conversion and you enjoy the end result. When you get your parts remember to keep all the bolts and hardware from the mustang donor

i bought the truck with the intent to make it the most reliable i could basically i dont want a car payment or have to buy another truck for the next 10 years so all this stuff in my list is basically thing i did to get out of the way for my peace of mind. the guy who i bought the truck from literately had it inspected a month before i got it so nothing was wrong with it but i to make thing interesting it was originally meant to be a fleet truck so it has factory no A/C or power steering. but tbh i dosent matter to me
