i prefer the optima
10-12 years ago, so did I, partially because it was the brand name that was highly pushed in the Audio industry which I was a large part of way back when..
But as cars change, as needs of the cars change, and as the demands of the end user have tripled in the last decade. And it doesn't help when you're regressive in your design and only "Optim-ize" issues with no remedy and shorter life spans demanding same or more for a product. that's not good business model, that's surviving off a name and a myth surrounding an old legend or wives tale.
Just my opinion tho, everyone will use what works best for themselves and budgets.
