Yeah, now i've gotten this part done, i wish i'd known and started earlier :)

Looks like you're lucky enough to have the parts still generally available for your year!  I'll link the rivnuts i used below, also the tool i used.

Drilling actually wasn't something i was or would be worried about, but it didn't look like it was needed, the only reason i saw to drill was if i bought the 'wrong' sized rivnuts.

The holes were 7mm in mine, i don't see why they would change 5 years later, so it should be good for you too, there will be 4 holes each side, i only showed 3 done in the pic.

There is a bracket component (bolts to the holes with the rivnuts in them)
There is a part called the handle trim (screws to the bracket)
There is a pillar trim piece (with the holes for the assist handle)

Rivnuts (7mm M5) 

Rivnut Tool, M5 size, screw type. 

Here's the 4 holes done.
