Had this problem on the tail gate since i bought it, remembered to grab one when i was at the junk yard.

This looks a lot nicer, just cleans up the gate area.

I also noticed the cable support has always been this way, probably caused in the same incident as the rubber flap.

Never looked close enough to realise that not only is it not supporting any weight, but the outer sheathing is the only thing holding it together :(

So back to junk yard :(
