I'll be honest, i'm really not sure Ford *get* why the Ranger is/was popular. 1) Fair priced. 2) Small truck instead of a huge barge. 3) Somewhat utilitarian and very functional. 4) A cab that was compromised because it's a TRUCK! Honestly, trucks have turned into cars with truck parts added, they don't do it particularly well, and the prices have become a luxury saloon plus extra for the truck parts. They need to understand the market is for people who want trucks to use as trucks, not cars that would be useful as trucks. Having said that, there is obviously a lot of people who need a daily but with the function of a truck, but they really shouldn't force everyone to have a huge thing when it's not needed.
