Oh absolutely, it's a great entry rifle, great price, my Wife has/had one (just sold it) - ironically upgraded it before she fired it (Tikka)

You can get 30.06 cheaper than that, also bulk does help a lot - watch for midway deals (got a 200 rnd case) and get Herters stuff from Cabellas, again, use the sales and shipping deals etc.
