I posted about a year ago of a project I was going to start. Well after finally getting to the truck. Which is a 95 Ranger Splash steppy regular car 2.3 5 speed. I was going to v8 swap it. But after checking out the 4 banger. It's actually a stroker motor. It was bored and stroked to a 2.8 has a ported head custom ground cam forged steel crank forged rods and pistons. I have a dyno sheet and spec sheet from the original engine builder. It made 285 hp and 240 ft/lbs all around 6500 rpm. The engine was built for a 1/4 midget sprint car. So that new info got me thinking. I decided to scrap the v8 idea and retain the 4 cylinder. Except adding about 10-15 pounds of boost. So the new path is 2.3 5 speed and a turbo. I figured it will be something different and should be a blast to drive. What are guy's thoughts?
