I recently had my exhaust replaced. My original dual setup was 2.25" my new is 2.5". Stuck with the same 40 series flowmaster. The 2.25" setup seemed to sound better and the 2.5" seems to have hurt the pulling power a little. My guess is a decrease in back pressure
