OK - so next time the truck does that to you, try this - jump out and remove the gas tank cap - a sudden rush of air into the tank will indicate the cap breather hole or the tank vent system is blocked.
If it is, as soon as the pump can't overcome the vacuum it has created in the tank the engine will die, leave it a while and the vacuum collapses.
No guarantee this is your problem but worth checking out.
No rush of air coming out of gas tank. I got an interia switch from work when I was on my way home it shut again I swapped out the interia switch and the started with no problem and it's been running for about an hour so I'm starting to think the interia switch was my problem all along.
