I finally got to talk to Carrie this afternoon. She has 20% burns on one side including her face ,back,arms, leg,and foot. They flew her to a hospital 2 hrs from were she lived at a burn unit. They were going to try to remove some skin this afternoon and tomorrow she goes in for surgery to start skin grafts. I know what she is going through because it happen to me when I was 4. I feel her pain and helpless to help her so many miles away.
I feel so numb.
