Anyway, i said something like, yes it's two lights, one for each side, they're 9 inch lights, now you can see actual dimensions below.
An idea was to use a flat piece of metal, just thick enough to prevent twisting at the light end, that mounts to the top of the plastic using two bolts, one at back and one at the front.
I will need to confirm space behind the grille for allowing the light to come forward instead of down, but i think this would allow for the simplest bracket type to be used? So odd that they [Auxbeam] truly limited mounting options on there/that light like that. They almost look like they were meant to be mounted on or under a bumper or racking of sorts. very odd.
In either case with a better look at the mount you are hindered into either mounting from below or as you stated in a hanging position. On top of that in either fashion, you may also have to compensate for height or drop if you will to clear openings of the grill area too.
