Yea, that's right.. some were worried this topic would be just too big for this section and worried we wouldn't have one ;)

So other than survey the land outside your domicile to make sure it was still in the drive like I did today. What did you do for your Ranger today?

I'm going to drive it to work in a few minutes does that count?

Been too busy past few days to even put gas in it. Bad idea.

That's a good plan..
I was told long ago that you should write your thoughts down so they become goals.. otherwise they remain as just thoughts...

I'm tearing back in to my cluster this weekend. I have a flickering LED at the top need to get the connection working better PLUS I have a pack of 5SMD's on a T5 base dying to see if it makes the warning areas "pop" a little better.

oooooo... I actually have something to say today!! YAY!!

Finally for the AC Compressor off (doing AC Delete, half of the AC Components were missing anyways).
Finally got the Power Steering Pump off. Had to destroy the high pressure line (the bolts were rounded badly). I'm replacing both high and low pressure lines along with the pump, so no worries.

The oddity.. The Lifters were Roller Lifters... I didn't think the 3.0 went roller till 92. It had stamped steel Rockers..

looks like i'm gonna be replacing the starter soleniod on the ranger & looking for the gremlin.
went out yesterday to start it & nothing... shorted the contacts on the solenoid & it cranked right over. battery is good, starter is good but the key won't even click the solenoid. it did this before but worked itself out but now it doesn't want to cooperate.

if the new solenoid doesn't work, i guess i'm gonna have to search for wires chewed through by a squirrel.

I installed my third brake light gasket. Seems to work pretty good. I'll find out when I wash my truck next.

Spent some time on the E-panel bracket, I'll have to hit the "Secret Shop" that has all sorts of crazy things that would otherwise be scrutinized by many as misc nothings.. But I swear this place, if you made something up they'll find it in the back room or on the top shelf.. lol

So tomorrow I will need to get some aluminum spacers and misc specialty bolts, washers, and these nuts... HA..

Then I can cut this bracket out, file down the edges, and then start assembly.

That would be a helluva commute.. but It make for an interesting drive. I kinda wonder how many states I could get through before  policy enforcement attempted to pull me over for no plates/registration? I think SoCal and Nevada are used to me now.. hahaha

Rockauto has some really good deals on MOOG uppers and lowers right now.

I just put an order together myself...

Considering that's everything in the front end of my 93', including wheel bearings & seals, and pivot bushing too.. that's pretty good considering local NON-MOOG parts at local part stores wanted between $44-59 EACH for uppers and lowers alone.

Still confused about the only $8.99 shipping tho.. I recalculated that 4 times to be sure.. seems awfully cheap to me... oh well

Cleaned the rust areas on the passenger side, applied some rust converter to the patches ('special' imported British stuff ;) - lets me apply it to rusted and non rusted areas alike)
