Today was a beautiful day so I put the Mustang back up on ramps in the rear & jack stands in the front so I can clean the rear frame rail sections where the sub frame connectors will weld to.
Drivers side,

Passengers side,

Yes you do, along with a whole lot more. As I am putting the Mustang together everything is new stuff. The only parts I am refurbishing & reusing are body parts, hood, trunk lid, fenders, & stainless trim.

It is not about the money, it is a hobby for me. Fortunately I am nearing the end of the line of purchasing things to get it back up & running. Almost 19 years ago I acquired it as a rolling shell & now I am closer to having it a complete car then it has been for a long time. The last time it ran was in 1994, the old inspection sticker that was on it when I acquired it said 10/94 was when it was due for re-inspection.

What it looked like when I towed it home,

What it looks like now,

Based on those two pictures, it appears you gained two doors, but someone stole your front fenders!  LOL

I like learning stuff and getting straight answers, and also when I ask questions (whether dumb or good questions) they’re usually answered in a serious manner. Older people are cool!

LOL it took me a minute or so to get out of the inside of my head after reading that. Old people have a lot of "memories". And sometimes they forget who they have told what story... I get this a lot "yeah you told me" and I always ask "when?" so I can know how far my memory is regressing!

My wife is always saying "I told you that last week" (or whenever).  I swear that would be the FIRST time she ever uttered the words.  But her memory "is better" than mine.  Sometimes I wonder...
