OK I didn't want to post about this in case it didn't happen, but it already hasn't happened LOL so now I'm complaining about it.

I found a first gen, 86 short short, 4WD manual 2.9. It had been on Marketplace for a while, price fluctuating, then it would disappear, then return... you know the indecisive seller thing.

He dropped it to 2K with the wheels, 1400 without so I went to look at it.

He had it on a trailer, was taking it to Michigan to meet someone who wanted to buy it but had not made an offer yet.

Being the nice guy I am and having deals yanked out from under me before I said to be fair he should at least talk to the guy but if he didn't take it or tried to get him to lower the price I would take it no problem. He didn't want to make the trip and would have let me buy it right there if I wanted.

Turns out the guy did buy the truck and I missed it by one day.

Sucks, I snoozed and lost LOL. Wasn't meant to be evidently.

I don't think I would have trailered  a vehicle I was selling to someone that didn't show interest by not taking a trip to Ohio. I guess that one way to get free delivery.
