Hello all. I'm looking to rebuild the manual transmission in my '02 Mazda B3000 2wd to address shifting issues that seem to go beyond the clutch. I've been doing some reading online and It looks like I most likely have the M5OD-R1 with the 30 tooth 5th/reverse gear (please correct me if you think I'm wrong), but I'm not so sure about the synchronizers. I've read that there are M5OD variants that have either single-piece synchronizers, or multi-piece synchronizers, so I'd like to be sure before I order parts. Is there a way I can tell what rebuild kit I need before disassembling the transmission?

I took a picture of the sticker on the transmission if it helps.

Thanks
- Matt
