The guy I originally bought my FMS headers from was contacted by another explorer enthusiast asking if he still had them.
He said no, and gave the guy my contact.
These particular headers are rare, I have never seen another set for sale but does that make them worth anything?
I have a set of Torque Monsters and only plan on HOPEFULLY getting the ambition to do just one Ranger this year.
Should I sell the FMS? Performance wise they are not as good as the TM but they are miles better than any stock manifold and they are like a museum item. I have been quoted as saying I would die with them but that could take a while.
I have been waiting on an offer from him and he has been waiting on a price from me so we are in a deadlock right now lol.
I sold my 70 Cougar XR7 when I was young, now it is worth a ton of money.
I gave away my 69 Honda Z50 A when I was young, it is worth like 5K now about 12 times what it was new.
I sold an acre and a half of land with a house on it for less than 100K about 25 years back, would have brought 300 right now.
I'm afraid if I sell the headers there will be a collector that eventually gets them and sells them to the henry ford museum for 5k.
At least I'm not like a guy I chatted with that sold 1000 bitcoins a few years back when they went over 400 bucks. If I remember correctly he said he paid like 24 bucks a piece. If he had waited till a couple months ago he could have purchased 10 Steve Austins. (first person that gets it let me know)
If it were you would you sell the headers?
