 Wow you are way closer than I'd like to be. Here are a couple shots of the smoke over seattle friday.

Noon

By 2 smoke was on the water....and the houses on the hillside had vanished.

The first 2 are facing north on Queen anne hill and the 3rd is facing north east.

 That was taken at our cabin and I was packing up to head home anyways. If wasn't heading heading home I'd have probably went to town bought 30 gallons of fuel and oil for my saws and bunch of canned goods to, I'd have been happily sawing around our place and our neighbors. It made it to the property behind us, sadly it wiped out the to little towns east of us. I'll post more pictures later.

Firewise construction is a necessity if you live anywhere near trees/land that might burn
Thanks for sharing. We have haze up here in North Idaho, fires all over the place now, CA, OR, WA, MN, Canada, and some local here in Idaho too....
