Hey guys! I'm trying to fix my 2006 Ranger airbags. Having trouble locating the passenger side airbag. I know this was the last year for the single stage.  Does anyone know what years are interchangable??  I found a complete kit for a 2009. Comes with driver and pass side, seat buckles and controller. Would this replacement work? Please help.

Hi, welcome to FR! I don't have the answer for that year but there are 2 maybe 3 daily visitors that would know. I'll attempt to summon them.

What’s wrong with the airbags? Ford is still doing recall repairs on them

Was wrecked. Airbags deployed. The recall is for the inflators. The dealership replaced the on in the steering wheel. They wouldn't touch the pass side because it was deployed. I need a replacement.

Probably have to buy from a private party.  Our Pick n Pull won't sell an airbag of any kind now that the recall is so wide spread.  My guess is that most salvage yards are doing the same.  The liability could put them out of business.

I have a 2004 steering wheel in my 2003 truck.  Ford won't perform the recall on it because it is in the wrong truck, in spite of me having the VIN from the donor truck.

If 06 was the last year of the single stage then I think 98-06 would work.
I have an 05 dash in dark grey with airbag PM me if interested
