Thank you :)  $2,500. No rust, good title or at least I hope so. I have a title but the previous owner passed, I have a certificate of death (kinda weird, I felt awkward buying the truck from this couple) so hopefully it’s fine. Runs, drives, stops.

Kinda don’t wanna take this truck apart.....

Drive it for a couple days, get a temp tag and take care of the title first. It takes a couple days to figure out what course you want to take on a project.

Then if you are like me the course changes several times. A week.

When I get the title I get new plates to go with it. Not temp ones but the real ones. It smokes a little, probably might do a tune up. Needs tires....i don’t know if I wanna put money into it

Title is a bust. Appears the previous owner didn’t change it into his name before he passed, so I need to get a bonded title. No biggie, or at least it doesn’t sound like it. We’ll see next week sometime

You did well. Nice ranger!! You may be starting over, but from the looks of that truck you'll finish a lot sooner....

Some states it is easy, some not. It is almost impossible in Ohio, it's like a 9 step process. You have one with a title right? Wheels turning.

The new one HAS a title, it was just never switched over. The lady at the tax office called it “title jumping” which is something I’ve never heard of. No biggie, at least this ones worth getting the title to lol

The first truck was a lesson in feelings for Rangers. I still have my green one, 5.0 dropped in, never turned the key. Wasn't my first Ranger, was my first viable project.

Well guys, it seems the truck knew I was indecisive and made the decision for me. I drove around the block, nothing crazy, max speed was 45. It over heated twice, started knocking like crazy, would die when put in drive or reverse, idled SUPER low, aaaaannnndddd the trans started smoking. Just driving around the block. I think she’s ready for her new life.
