With the top off and the doors off, I much prefer the look of the 2 door.

Looks like all the rumors that I heard about it turned out to be true.

I agree. In one clip it looked like the 4 door has a configuration that gives it a small bed in the back. But, sadly in a bunch of clips it says at the bottom â€œrenderingâ€ or â€œnot actual production vehicleâ€ or something like that, but who knows. I'd like to see a v8, not that I can afford one but I'd still like to see one!

$100 to reserve and FIRST SHIPMENTS Beginning Mid 2021. The base model starting at $28K. To get the serious off road the Badlands which starts at $42k and you need some of the options to get it there. I could see it costing over $50k configured how I would like it.

Too rich for my blood and I would still need a truck.

The new "Sport" I mean really? Jeep call's theirs a renagade at least, not a Wrangler "Sport"

The 2 door! HECK YEAH looks awesome!! can get with a manual transmission! Woohooo and its turbocharged!!

I think I actually like it.
Lots of trim levels and packages and options.
Top of the line will be $$$ of course.
But I like the Sasquatch package, just the offroady bits.
A base model 2 door with Sasquatch shouldn't be too bad. (Curious how much they're going to be here in Canada)

I read something about trail turn assist this morning but can't find confirmation

There's a video that came out a while ago of the broncos that showed the feature you were talking about. Basically it will lock on of the rear wheels and then lock the opposite side front wheel (if it locks back passenger, then front driver will get power) so that it pretty much acts like a vehicle with tracks, if I remember correctly. I'll try and find a link to the video

Edit: found it. Skip to the 23 second mark and you will see the back drivers side wheel start to â€œdigâ€ as it goes around the tree.

It most likely is electronic because I bet it's just using the electronic locking rear diff to do that, not the brakes. That feature will most likely be optional, but that would make the bronco super nimble on trailer. It's shorter than the wrangler, has a smaller wheelbase, and it has that function? You can turn on a dime, especially with the 2 door.

A Focus with 245hp/276lb-ft, AWD, 4x4 and a locking rear diff though...
Wonder how well it will hold up offroad.
People like little crossovers, it will sell I think.

I bet it will. Someone somewhere will make a 2-3 in loft kit for it to fit bigger tires, and they'll put a roof rack on it and some bumpers and take it out off-road. Will it be good off-road? Maybe, it is a FORD after all :-P

yes I see what you guys are saying, the dudes at Ford know their stuff better than I.....but as a long time Bronco II owner and driver I can speak that it was a mistake then, it is a mistake now.

If the top does not come off it is not really a bronco! instead it is just marketing......

Now having said that I love my little BII no matter what they called it!!
This truck could have been called the "pinto 4x4" and I would still have fallen in love with driving it and its off road capabilities....t

Right now the biggest issue is that the Sasquatch package only comes with the slush box, no manual. Although Ford says that they are willing to listen to opinions about this. So by the time you can actually buy it, that may change. Sasquatch is the package that gets you 35" beadlock compatible tires, more ground clearance, locking diffs, on even the base model. Sure seems dumb to not let you put that awesome 7sps on it. Maybe it's all manufactured drama and they know that in the end they will offer it...

I want to see one in person!! I told my wife I want one she said "okay" but of course that would mean giving up my BII and my dreams of a long travel sport trac on 37's...............we shall see what the future holds. I love my BII but it takes a sawzall to remove the roof. We have paid off all of our Polaris machines, I have one more loan to pay off (Bulldozer and Excavator) then I "could" afford a new Bronco..... so I want to see one in person.
After buying and paying off her toyota FJ I thought that would be the last auto loan ever....dang you Ford! DANG!!!!!!!!! can barely sleep knowing the new 21 Bronco exists.....I love it! Turbo!!!!!!!!!! Hard tops come off!!!! half doors! If it had a solid front axle it would truly be a Jeep/Fiat/Stellantis killer

no need! The IFS looks ALOT like wifes Toyota FJ cruiser....that IFS can handle some bumps for sure! IFS actually works better for me as I do not do a bunch of rock crawling but lots of dirt road/snow stuff

The pricing is what kills me, supposedly the base is around the 30K mark, only about 3K more than Ford said years back; but when you add anything to it you are back to the 40K+ area... not where I want to be but where the options push it.

It doesn't look to bad, I was actually getting ready to say I think it might work for me but with the price up so high I will be driving my Payment-Free Ranger for a while longer.

Waiting to hear how the Turbo engine works out, 2.7L ECO, I'm not a fan, wondering if there will be a 5.0L option later on; problem is another 10K added on.

We will see how thing work out, the first years supply is already sold out ! I can see Ford Dealers all over the US jumping on the "Premium Add-On Pricing" just to get one !

I complained about the new Ranger, modified EDGE, so I guess I need to say something about the new Bronco.

First off, I do like it !
Is it what I thought would be coming out, no !
Is it what Ford had to make to make money, probably !
Is it too expensive, yes, without a doubt in my mind... YES !
The looks are decent.
The off-road capabilities, yet to be determined, but for standard trail running it looks like it will do; that's not burying the Jeep but it is all I really do now-a-days !
Will I buy one, probably not, too expensive and if I hit the lottery, I will be buying an F-250 Loaded with ever option I can find for it. (Need a good truck to pull the two trailers, RV and Vehicle). (Right now my paid for '03 Ranger EDGE is just fine) !

Ford, give me a deposit now and I will give you a hamburger tomorrow, I mean I will give you a vehicle tomorrow... why... they have had 10 yers of promises about the Bronco, this vehicle should be one of the best out there and should have been ready to sell when they released the Pre-Pay Mode.
Good Luck to anyone buying one, it looks like it could be a great vehicle, at least I'm hoping.

After watching Eddie Money's post, did I say it cost too much... $100K, almost, for a Bronco that may have enough power to compete against one of the newer Hemi !?!??!?!!?!
Both having enough HP and Torque to burn off all four tires at once !
Why would you pay $48K for a higher optioned New Bronco, then add another $45K for a motor and trans transplant ?
Must be great having money to burn !

I'm a fan of old mopars. Having owned a few I'm well aware they are stupid expensive and not well built. A properly built and tuned twin turbo coyote will eat chevys and crap chryslers.

Chevy LS engines are probably the most affordable bang for buck power plants... if only Chevrolet made anything that looked cool. I'm referring to trucks not cameros and corvettes, or cadillacs. I see lots of LS swapped rangers because the S10s arent near as cool looking as rangers....
