On another note and back to the original topic, the Red EDGE, is still at the audio, got a message he would be done late tonight, hoping for a call today.

I haven't heard of any problems, or any camera issues yet, holding my breathe that it has the best view, just the height of the camera bugs me.

Excursion is the KING of SUV's the largest SUV made even today. yes it is the PERFECT machine with the 7.3. I could live in it, since we bought it basically we have just driven it....starts, runs, drives every day never asks for anything except clean oil. Also it will haul the 36' enclosed trailer like it wasn't even there..........getting harder to find a clean 7.3 Excursion but they are out there. Wicked wicked machine. Only reason I would EVER get rid of our 7.3 ex is if I had a chance to build a 2004-2005 6.0 one.

You could consider adding a second rear view camera up high like the 3rd brake light, so you can switch back and forth between them.....

Yes, a good idea, I'm suppose to hear today, hoping I can get it later today.
I will check out the camera view, I don't need more but that idea of a high camera could be a great way to make sure the road behind is clear.

Thx.

I'm soaking the lifters out of my 5.0L build, trying to clean up someField Mouse droppings, well  little more than a little... what a F-up I did by forgetting the separate valley cover when I threw the intake on... gave a great place foe a house.

the 4.0 SOHC V6 is the worst for mouses houses, they love the little spot under the early upper intake plenum
I hate cleaning those up!

I use these all the time and wear a mask for mouse droppings yuck

Undrstm8ed,
How does your 8" Woofer sound ?
You can see my Enclosure above, a little larger than suggested for the Pioneer shallow Mount 8"; I was going 10" but changed because of space available.

Thanks for your comments.

I've yet to be able to officially finish the bottom stanchions for supports and load the woofer in and mount it. Plus I have some new wiring to run still and the items associated with that aren't in my paid possession yet. lol But Before winter this year, that may be done.  My one Toyota build has been put to the side and another may be replacing it in priorities. I've been searching high and low for a manual trans FJ cruiser with an electronic locker.. and I found one that's not only virgin but within my means.

But I know my talents and abilities in tuning audio plus my design thoughts so I'm pretty confident the 400w will be more than enough to entertain me lol

My 8" Sub in a 10" enclosure, sounds decent but I need to do some adjustments.
