I got to see them in Detroit. I was in my early 20's. Fastway was the opening act.

I saw Don at a bar in warren mi, forgot the name AND the year but it was before the official announcement that Reb Beach was going to tour with them. Casual hair band listeners would think of Richard Earl Beach Jr. as the finger tapping young'in that played with Kipp Winger.

WELL I got to see him with Don doing this song. While Reb was doing a little extended blusey intro don walks out on stage with a cigarette, takes a puff, points at Reb and says "This is the  ". Was some of the best riffing I had ever heard live. Then he goes on to tell a sad story about him and a girl he evidently loved but partied too hard with one night. They passed out as usual. He woke up, she didn't. The story alone the way he told it was worth the price of tickets, what I had in to alcohol and the wait till almost midnight for music.
Anyhow this vid only touches on a little of Rebs actual abilities, not the teenage Reb but a mature, comfortable, experienced musician. The show I saw was better and it was at least a 10 minute solo.

and now for something completely different

I'm a big fan of Sia believe it or not, I have been listening to the new LSD album for a few weeks now...

I listen to all sorts of crap, seriously all sorts of stuff from classical to classic rock. My favorites are Depeche Mode and Muse, but I listen to anything that sounds good.
Im a sucker for a good female voice, Sia has an incredible voice

Cool, I'm a long time head banger but there were a couple muse songs that did catch my ear, vocals and arrangement.

Muse, can you imagine the power of having that many people completely focused on your creation as it is created?
Matt Bellamy is pretty damn talented
