Arthur here from up North.
I've been lurking big time on all the ranger boards since I've had my ranger which has a bit over two years...
I've never registered because well
1st theres like (or there used to be) 5 different boards going on...
2nd between all of them all the info I ever needed was right there with a little searching sometimes.
I bought a 2008 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 in december 2017.
Quite high mileage (150k) and with tranny that wasn't that healthy anymore. But it was CAD4000
For that I got a Black 2008 XLT 4x4 with :
5 spd manual
front, t-case and fuel skids
the 16" wheels with almost new 245/65/16 Duratracs
Fiberglass cap with "canoe rack" in good shape except doesn't lock.
I knew the tranny was gonna go at some point but it let go sooner than later (about a year after I got it)
Cost me about 2k to swap in one with about 65k miles.
All in all I'm happy with what I got for CAD6k total.
Since then I've been doing maintenance, little upgrades and lately dealing with... rust. Just body though frame is fine.
Right now its on 285/75/16 duratracs on original rims, slight T-bar crank and Bilstein 4600s (great improvement) plus some other little things but I might start a build thread for that and the bigger plans (gears, diffs, coilovers and all those nice things )
I'll upload some pictures soon but they're on my android phone and I'm on a mac right now.
Anyway I've chosen to register here since it's the "newest" ranger site on the block (we'll see if everyone flocks over to here.) and I think I found something interesting for which I'll start a new thread.

2008 XLT 4x4 4.0 5Spd. Pretty much stock except 33's and Bilsteins.
