Nice - A 38 shooting light loads makes a great target gun. The 10-5 was common in the LEO community as a carry piece and will easily handle +P rounds.

Thanks. The wife is the revolver person in the house. We have 2 now, she wants more... saw this at the gun show and it was what she wanted for sure.

FYI, an unlined, un-molded leather holster will wear the black Armory Kote fairly quickly.

I plan on lining/treating the interior(haven't decided which), as well as wet forming it to the gun. I am waiting on my dies and some other things to show up to finish it up.

all done, Ended up lining it with some black felt. We'll see how it holds up. I needed to cut the strap, I'll be doing that tomorrow when I get some more snaps in.

AIM Surplus has used Law Enforcement trade-in Smith & Wesson Model 65 .357 Magnum stainless steel revolvers in stock  for $420 in stock right now.  These are 4 inch heavy barrel, K-frame, 6 shot .357 Mag/.38 Spl revolvers that have a bobbed trigger so they must be shot double action.

I am short cash since I just got back from vacation or I would have one of these headed to my FFL. This is a great deal on a K-frame 357. The good thing about stainless is that any imperfections in the metal can be buffed out with scotch brite or turned into a pimp gun polishing it on a rouge wheel.
