I was busy this weekend.  I installed some OEM 2009 Ranger side mirrors.  For anybody who knows much about me, I couldn't just bolt on a couple of mirrors.  I upgraded these with Explorer heated glass, Lincoln MKx puddle lights and hidden F-150 sequential turn signal modules.  Unfortunately, I was unable to upload a video of the signals in operation.  :-(

Here are some pics though:

Thanks Mike!  The signal modules are behind the mirror glass at the bottom.  Since the modules are smoked, you don't see them until they come on.

The sequential part looks like a laser shooting out.  Pretty cool!

So, I'm now using this thread to document my truck as it seems few people come by to post.  :-(

Finished installing my new Pioneer head unit last weekend (yes, it took me a week to get around to posting this).  Got all the settings dialed in over the past week to get the sound the way I wanted it.  I have a set of Pioneer speakers available to me that I may install in the coming weeks.

I WOULD have uploaded a couple of pics of the installation, but today, FR is saying NO! to that (no pic uploads for you!) LOL

Still no-go.  Getting a message:

"This page isn't working"
"ford-rangers.com is currently unable to handle this request."
"HTTP ERROR 500"

This time I am at work, so different computer and enterprise fiber internet access here.

Well!  As you can see, I can upload an attachment, but not use the Gallery or the blue "+" in the toolbar.  I don't like using the attachment method because it doesn't go to my Gallery.  Another thing I am experiencing is the email notification I receive:

Shows a link rather than the FR banner like it usually does (no big deal to me)
The link to take you to the post I have been notified about isn't clickable... I have to copy and paste it into the browser.

I also tried a different browser (Chrome) and although it lets me go through the motions of logging in, it never really gets me logged in; so I cannot post from that browser instance.

EDIT:  Also noticed that if I just go to ford-rangers.com, and click the little button to go to the LAST post in this thread, it takes me to the FIRST page of the thread.
EDIT:  Make that ANY thread does that.  Once I am at the first page in the thread, clicking the last post button then will take me to the top of the last page.

Hmm - I can access your gallery and post if I log in as you (admin rights) - maybe try clearing your browser cache?

Can I just check with you what type of file you are trying to upload - the forum only accepts .jpg, .jpeg, .png and .gif images.

OK - so I have a current error - loading 6_-_counter_tops_-_ranger_area_-_done-21_-281-29.j -  I think the problem is in the filename - try renaming it to something simpler - looks like it is too long and getting truncated to 50 characters.

Chris, oddly enough, I am not receiving notifications on this thread again (and others).  The file I was trying to upload was named "Install Complete (2).jpg".  I will be ticking the little box to receive notifications on this thread again.

Not sure I should post this, but here goes:  Thursday, I loaded up my truck with a bunch of Ranger parts and headed to Cadiz, Kentucky... Prizer Point (Land Between the Lakes).  I attended the 25th anniversary of The Ranger Station forum, which I have belonged to since 2016.  Another bunch of really great guys and gals (like all of you!) that have a common interest in RBV's.  I'm sure that some of the TRS members are also members here.  Unfortunately, my wife, who was excited to go with me, ended up having some medical issues that made her stay (and mine) less than perfect.  Anyway, there was still some fun with the group along with fresh air and trees that we don't have in Evansville, Indiana.  Regardless of their forum affiliation, Ranger enthusiasts are just a wonderful bunch of folks!  :rock

I am a member at TRS also of course, and Jim's Maverick Trucking forum as I was considering buying one. The maverick should have been the Ranger IMO.

Wish I would have had time I have a garage full of Ranger stuff and have sold most of the V8 conversion stuff already including my beloved Motorsport Headers.

Mike what is most important is your wife's health, just sent prayers for her speedy recovery.

Thank you all for your well wishes for my wife!  In the last 5 years, she has been battling gastro-intestinal issues, melanoma and had to have a kidney removed, so it has been a major battle to keep her healthy, comfortable and thinking positively.  Keeping the bills paid has been challenge, but with the economy in the toilet and inflation at an all-time high, I am starting to see things slipping.

@Chris:  I'm going to tick the little box to get email notifications on this thread again.  I just stopped by and found this by accident (no email notification again).  So if you would, please see if there is something that keeps turning that off for me.  Other than that, everything else seems to be normal again.  Thanks!

Something a bit odd - the checkbox was not "holding" your choice, but the topic was still in your "watched topics" list ???

I have fixed the checkbox (fingers crossed) - let's see what happens now!

OK - I checked the server's outgoing mail and it looks like outlook is blocking your mails - I know the server is set up properly so maybe try whitelisting the forum's mail address which is zeroredl@shared.logicweb.com

@Chris: Okay, I have added "zeroredl@shared.logicweb.com" to my safe senders list in Outlook.  Let's see how that does!
