I always call it a right now fee lol for the parts stores prices. Nothing against it but if I can wait I'll wait. I'd I can't there's one two blocks away I can walk to if I have to.

So I have new tires now but on the way to the place my truck started sounding like a diesel. I've tried looking up what it could be but there's no one answer to it. I took a video and thought y'all could help me out but can I post them on this thread or is there a specific thread to do that?

Probably best to make a separate thread on it under the appropriate Engine Tech section.  That way, if someone else has a similar issue, they would be able to read through the thread and possibly resolve their issue as well.

I am pretty lucky on the auto parts store situation. I have one about 5 miles from the house, and I know all the guys that work there. (I actually applied to work there part time and for nights, but they never sent me paperwork to fill out. Went in for the interview and had the job, but no one called/emailed. So I don't quite know what happened).

But I get a heck of a discount with them. Advance Auto always has good deals and coupons. So I am buddy buddy with the Manager and all the parts guys.

For some reason, the guys at the auto parts stores don't find me attractive... ;-)

I think you're just going to the wrong auto parts store! Gotta find one that appreciates the satire and comedic relief you bring! ;-)
I am sure you can find someone who droools over you too at the parts store hahaha

Yeah, I need to find an AutoZone for the elderly.  Something like "Blue-Haired Auto Parts" or "Nursing Home on Wheels Service Center", anything with a 75+ year old parts gal!  LMAO

Just got all brand new bearings for the front end since the other new stuff I put on brought it to light. New inner and outer bearings with races and whee seals along with some more high temp grease and one of those bearing grease packer things that hooks to the grease gun

I took some parts off my original 2WD green ranger I never got to drive. Took them for my new project.

I intended to change my oil, check fluids, check lights, install my summer wheels/tires.  None of that happened.  I suck.

I ended up at a local gun store with my son, bought a new over-the-range microwave, bought a few grocery items, filled up with gas.  Then it started storming right after we got home.

Don't feel bad. I have a set of spark plugs sitting in the passenger seat. They have been there for 2 months.

That's if I don't send a rod to the moon first. I finally have a solution for the old fuel. Got some 5 gallon buckets with lids and my brother will take it for when he needs to burn stuff on his farm. I might start on it tomorrow or next weekend

Mounted up some new tires to some u spokes for my moms 2007 2wd 2.3. Man that was real pain in the butt to make them fit the front hubs. But nothing a little time and a air grinder can't fix!

Apparently 4wd trucks have a smaller hub than a 2wd. I'd never guessed that either myself

2WD have integrated hub that includes the disc brake with the bearings and lug bolts. A 4wd has a hub with bearings and lug bolts with the disk brake as an add on.
