 Did a timing cover gasket, timing set, oil change and refilled the coolant.  Someone is coming Monday to pick it up.  It's been replaced as my dd and I frankly dont have room to keep it.

Unfortunately, you could switch 2 spark plug wires on the accord and it would still get better fuel mileage than a ranger.

 Same here.  Round trip for me is 70 miles, so I can drive to work for a week on a tank of gas.  Any other side trips and I have to re-fuel early.

 Got my moms 07 back on the road finally. New brakes up front, 4 shocks. Even tinted the windows. Time to send it to the detailed to buff it up and then it'll truly be done.

 Awe! Sad to see you part with the Ranger. I hope you get another one down the road! 
I feel the pain. I drive 60-65 miles round trip. It costs me about $120-150 a week in gas. 6-7 mpg is no fun! But hey. Smiles per gallon. Not miles per gallon.
Cannot help but smile in my "big" truck. It's a little mid size, but it is big for a mid-size haha.

I need to get a daily. Been eyeballing some civics or even a stock little Ranger.

 The ranger was always meant to be a daily, not a toy.  And driving a slow, wobbly 4.0 ranger 75 miles a day wasn't fun.  When I want fun I have a 700hp lightning or my 2018 gt.  I don't see myself owning another ranger unless I buy a new one.  If I get another truck period it'll be another full-size diesel.

 I can empathize with Dustin. I inherited the Ranger when I had a Tundra w/ 140k on the clock and I hated that truck - crappy fuel mileage, horrible ride, and a dog performance wise. I also inherited the Tundra. I sold the Tundra and started fixing issues on the Ranger.  The 3.0L engine is not a powerhouse but it outperforms the V-8 Tundra. The Ranger also gets 19-20 around town and 22 on the road but it can also pull a 4500 lb trailer. The Tundra was at 13 mpg and it struggled pulling a 1500 pound trailer. The Ranger stepside bed has limitations but the ladder rack makes up for a lot of those limitations. 

I have at least another 2 years before I can access my 401k without penalty. I like my Ranger but my wife hates it (she liked my F-150 Lariat and I have kept her in a nice car for the past 20+ years). My next truck will probably be either a F-250 Diesel or Jeep Gladiator (provided they offer the turbo-4 in 2 years). I am not impressed with the new Ranger. 

Time to order speakers as I now have two blown speakers.  The radio now stays off as it is painful to listen to it.

 Yeah. Mid-Size trucks surely aren't for everyone. I have been looking for a older Cummins or a 2000s era 7.3 Powerstroke. Everyone in Florida wants an arm and a leg for their "mint" condition diesels though. 10k and up usually. But with wanting to buy a house and that I am way overdue a raise for work. It is hard. 

I vowed to never part with the Ranger. It is just too sentimental and too much money sunk into it to ever get anything back out of it.

 I found a company that will put the body of my '03 EDGE on a stretched Early Bronco Frame.
All the mounts, all the suspension - 4 Link, and mount the axles for under 3K$... sounds almost too good to be true.

Added: 

Got the new Alpine Head Unit in the Mail... not to take apart the interior and see where I can put this stuff.
Having trouble with the 10" Sub, the enclosure is little larger than I thought it would be, I still need to modify the Enclosure so it might still work.
