 Saved this gem from a scrap yard a little while back. 2007, 2.3 5spd, 109k on the clock. Took a real small impact on the front end. Pulled it right out with a chain. Got a xlt bumper with fogs, 16” Y spoke rims, chrome mirrors. The works. Got a couple more things to do to it and ready for a sticker and insurance! Worked on it till dark in the cold.... 🥶Not to shabby for about 1300 in parts plus the truck.

 Hi everyone! Posting my monthly type update.
Ain't done much to the Ranger. Just did a pair of Halo LED Spyder lights I got off a buddy. (I had the RGB Projector style ones, but I smashed them into the back of the mustang so I rolled with $60 cheap ass amazon lights)
Got the Spyder lights for $150, shipped from him to me in Florida. Love the community Ranger owners have. 

So it fixed my body lines somewhat. Whatever lines I have left. Considering I have a bent hood and front radiator support as it is. Which makes my truck look like a Frankenstein, but now the fiberglass fenders line up so nicely! 
The front black bug guard makes the fenders and hood all mate well. 
(I'll post pic for y'all)

Otherwise, not much down here in Florida. It is humid today. 77 degrees. So luckily, no snow damage to my poor baby. I couldn't imagine having my Ranger in the snow. I'd be "one of those" that locks up my shitbox for months because I am too pussy to drive it haha.

Glad to see all you folks are doing well!!

Sorry about your truck dear Arthur. I know how it feels. 2 accidents and I have had many tree-wrecking incidents in my Ranger. (I also use mine as a daily/toy/baja/tow-pig) Praying for you man!

 Rain, the crappy Goodyear Wranglers I have slip and slide with any moisture on the road. I had to make a left turn at a traffic light and the back end out-raced the front end. I was just a passenger at that point. It spun me in position to go through the light in the opposite direction I intended to go. I have about 50% treadlife left and I am fed up with these tires.

Any suggestions for a street tire for a 3.slo with a 3:73 posi rear? I will probably change tires when I get my tax refund so I have time.

 Maybe get a more aggressive tread tire?
Maybe a more A/T and M/T style?

I LOVE my BF Goodrich KM3 M/T!! I will swear by it, I love them. While I purposely break them loose(hehehe), I haven't (*knock on wood*) had them break loose without my own doing.  

I commute 60 miles a day to-and-fro work everyday, and I live in the good ole "Sunshine State" where it rains every day, every summer.

I had the A/T KO (Now replaced by KO2, similar tread pattern) and I loved those as well! They were even half-bald and I never had them break loose on purpose.

Do some digging!

 Let's see, a lot has happened to 3 my rangers over the weekend: one the coil pack dropped two cylinders, one the new starter went and lastly I was 5 miles to work the all the gauges stopped working.... perfect time for Xmas to roll around.

Dang, you just can't catch a break! The first two are pretty easy fixes. That last one COULD be hard to find the issue. I would start with a blown fuse and take it from there. Good luck!

I'm crossing my fingers it's a blown fuse or my junkyard cluster took a dump on me

If the connectors are not in all the way till they click they can back out. Since you worked on the cluster this could be a theory.

 Mike I have removed so many clusters now I have it "right down" lol I can have it out and on the bench in less than 10 minutes. And that's manually removing all 7mm bolts. I use my electric ratchet for the bigger bolts that hold that metal kick plate on.

Michael, mine are the same way. Each time I have removed that metal plate to remove the cluster the bolts always come out like they are cross threaded.

 Yes, it's a slight mismatch to the clip nuts they used. OR maybe it was a universal clip nut and a self tapping screw. I put anti-seize compound on them.

Those things are SHARP too, I have a spare I run through the tumbler, and every time I remove one I put the tumbled one back on and tumble the rusty sharp one. Yes I keep a spare kick plate on hand LOL.

 I swapped my cluster bezel yesterday. While I had it apart, I ran a tap in the speed nuts, then ran the bolts through a die. M6-1.0 threads. I can now thread them all in by hand, then snug them with a ratchet! Tap & die set for the win! :)
