When I did mine, I turned the seat cover inside out, except for about 12 inches on the closed end.
Slipped the end over the portion of the seat I was working on, get it tight and in place, then rolling of pulling the rest on while keeping things tight.
Was easier than I expected, just take your time.
I did keep the seat covers in the sun to keep them warm. did it help, I don't know but as I said eaasier than expected.
